Artist Statement

My work focuses on the impermanence and fragile nature of time, capturing the layered sediments of experience. Memories change - they get blurred, exaggerated, or become incomplete as time goes on. I use paint and collage to reflect how we remember, blending abstract and realistic elements. By layering, breaking, and reworking these materials, I continually explore and reshape the stories they tell.
